Employment/Leadership Opportunities for Teens

Save Our Children, Inc.’s commitment to engaging best practices in youth development includes employing teen staff members during both the After School and Summer Programs. This initiative offers teens the opportunity to engage in the development of professional skills, to participate in training and leadership development, to explore career options in the field of youth work, education and community-based initiatives and to serve children and youth in their community. Additionally, Save Our Children’s Board of Trustees designates one seat for a former participant or young adult from the surrounding community to act on behalf of the organization in the capacity of Trustee. Save Our Children provides training and orientation for all Trustees to ensure effective participation.
